What You Need

250 grams paneer (cut into cubes)

3 medium tomatoes (pureed)

1 big onion (chopped or pureed)

2 tablespoons butter (add more if u want extra butter taste)

1/2 cup fresh cream (or malai)

1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

1 teaspoon red chili powder (can add more if u like spicy)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
-
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
-
1 teaspoon coriander powder
-
1 tablespoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

2 tablespoons oil
-
salt to taste

fresh coriander for garnishing
Step 1: Prep Paneer
Cut paneer into cubes. If u want soft paneer soak it in warm water for 10 mins. Drain before using.
Step 2: Make Tomato Puree & Onion Paste
Blend tomatoes smooth. You can blend onion too or just chop finely if u like texture.
Step 3: Cook Onion and Ginger Garlic Paste
Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in pan. Add onion paste and cook till it’s golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell is gone.
Step 4: Add Spices & Tomato Puree
Add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder. Mix well.
Add tomato puree and cook till oil start separating from masala. This step important for good taste.
Step 5: Add Paneer and Cream
Add paneer cubes gently. Mix.
Add cream and crushed kasuri methi. Stir carefully.
Add salt and garam masala powder. Cook on low flame for 5 mins.
Step 6: Add Butter and Final Touch
Add remaining butter on top. Cover pan for 2 mins.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
